It is a superior book only for those that know C#, because the book is very technical. First chapters cover C# as BNF notation, and next continue explaining more in depth the first ones. But really it is the definitive book to consult and learn C#, it is like Stroustrup’s for C++/5(30).

Anders Hejlsberg is a programming legend. He is the architect of the C# language and a Microsoft Technical Fellow. He joined Microsoft Corporation infollowing a thirteen-year career at Borland, where he was the chief architect of Delphi and Turbo Pascal/5(20).

The first chapters of the book describe the fundamentals of the C# language such as variables, loops and methods. The book then gets progressively more challenging, describing, among other things, WCF Services, asynchronous operations, synchronizing concurrent data, reflection, the CodeDOM /5(18).
